United Nations: The situation in Pile is calm

The United Nations also reported that the situation in Pile remains calm.

In a statement shared on social media, the United Nations said, “The situation in Pile remains calm. The UN Peacekeeping Force continues its patrol duties in the area and is closely monitoring developments.”

The UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Cyprus and Head of the UN Peacekeeping Mission, Khassim Diagne, also called on the parties to act with restraint.
