Parl. Speaker Ziya Öztürkler received Aegean Region Business People Federation

Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Ziya Öztürkler received Serhun Alakuş, President of the Aegean Region Business People Federation, along with his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Öztürkler emphasized that cooperation between businesspeople from Türkiye and Turkish Cypriots is of great importance for development.

According to a statement from the Assembly, the meeting addressed the importance of strengthening relations between the business communities of Türkiye and the TRNC, as well as promoting joint investments.

Öztürkler underlined that cooperation between Turkish and Turkish Cypriot businesspeople plays a vital role in development.

He stated that expanding trade between the two countries is in the interest of both Türkiye and the TRNC, adding that ongoing investments in the TRNC are being supported and will help revitalize the country’s economy.

Öztürkler also said that the business communities of Türkiye and the TRNC will move forward hand in hand toward common goals.

President of the Aegean Region Business People Federation, Serhun Alakuş, also provided information about their activities.
