PM Üstel in Baku to attend OTS Heads of Government Summit

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel is attending the Meeting of Heads of Government / Deputy Heads of Government of the Organisation of Turkic States in Baku.

The Premier is attending the meeting as a representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in its capacity as an observer member.

Üstel and his accompanying delegation travelled to Baku late last night.

The meeting, which will begin on April 2, 2026, will bring together the heads of government or vice presidents of the member states of the Organisation of Turkic States.

The meeting is considered important in terms of solidarity within the Turkic world and the development of relations between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the member states.

In addition to the Organisation of Turkic States meeting, Üstel is also expected to hold talks with the Azerbaijani state and government officials.
