Oğuz stressed that the wars taking place in the Middle East had once again demonstrated to everyone how important Türkiye’s guarantorship is.
“The red line of the Turkish Cypriot people is the guarantorship of motherland Türkiye, and it will remain so throughout history,” Oğuz said, noting that what the Republic of Türkiye has done for the development of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and for it to stand on its own feet was very important.

Turkish Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek also stated that they always seen the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as a brotherly country, adding that their shared history, culture, language, and unity of fate formed the strongest foundation of their cooperation.
Minister Gürlek said that, as the Ministry of Justice, they had always provided the necessary support for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to take its rightful place as an independent and sovereign equal member of the international community, and that they were ready to do their part to further advance relations between the two countries…
Minister Oğuz will continue his contacts today.
In this context, Oğuz will meet with Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi.
