RTÜK delegation in the TRNC

President of Türkiye’s Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK), Mehmet Daniş, and his accompanying delegation arrived in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) for a series of contacts.

As part of the visit, Daniş and his delegation paid tribute at the mausoleums of Dr. Fazıl Küçük and Founding President Rauf Raif Denktaş.

Chairman of the Supreme Broadcasting Council Feyzi Hansel accompanied Daniş during the visits.

Serdar Denktaş, son of Founding President Rauf Raif Denktaş and leader of the Social Justice and Struggle Party, was also present during the visit to Denktaş’s mausoleum.

Speaking at the site, Daniş emphasized that both Küçük and Denktaş hold great significance for the Turkish Cypriot people and the citizens of Türkiye.

“Rauf Denktaş’s life, especially his dedication to Cyprus, is a great source of inspiration for all of us,” he said.

Daniş also noted that RTÜK maintains cooperation with the Supreme Broadcasting Council, adding that during the visit they will review past work and explore possibilities for new joint projects.

He expressed hope that the planned cooperation between RTÜK and the Supreme Broadcasting Council will be beneficial for both sides and for the TRNC.
